BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN OF NEWTOWN BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS HELD ON WEDNESDAY MAY 30, 2007
At 5:00 P. M., the meeting was called to order by Chair Person Carol Mattegat. Present were Commissioners Gerald Finnegan, Duane Giannini, Robert Connors and Richard Simon. Also present was Chief Kehoe.
Discussion was held about holding upcoming special meetings for the Board of Police Commissioners.
A special meeting will be held on June 7, 2007 at 6:30 PM for the purpose of encumbering monies for 06-07 Fiscal Year and interviewing certified candidates for the position of Police Officer.
A special meeting will be held on June 28, 2007 at 6:00 PM for the purpose of interviewing non-certified candidates for the position of Probationary Police Officer.
At 5:25 P. M., Commissioner Simon moved to proceed with conditional offers of employment to the following candidates:
· Vincent Benevento
· James LeClair
· Scott Smith
· Richard Monckton
· Bart Lorancattis
· Liam Seabrooke
· Ralph Anderson
· David Donahoe
seconded by Commissioner Connors, carried by unanimous vote.
At 5:32 P. M., a motion was made by Commissioner Simon to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Connors, and carried by unanimous vote.

ADDENDUM TO
MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN OF NEWTOWN BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS HELD ON TUESDAY JUNE 5, 2007
At 10:48 P. M., the Board left executive session.
At 10:48 P. M. Commissioner Connor moved to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Giannini, unanimously passed by the Board.
